Alleged Carpinteria Heroin Trafficker Arrested

Sheriff’s detectives from the Sheriff's Special Investigations Bureau identified 46-year-old Kristopher Davis of Carpinteria as being a Heroin trafficker operating in the City of Carpinteria. Through further investigation, Davis' residence and vehicle were identified.
On December 9, 2016, Sheriff’s detectives from the Sheriff's Special Investigations Bureau, personnel from the Compliance Response Team and Sheriff’s patrol deputies in Carpinteria, served a search warrant on Davis’ residence in the 1000 block of Elm Ave in Carpinteria.
As a result of this investigation, law enforcement officers found Davis to be in possession of 2.5 ounces of Black Tar Heroin with a small amount of Cocaine and Methamphetamine packaged for narcotics sales. In addition, two stolen handguns, one unregistered handgun and two rifles were also located and seized.
Davis was arrested and booked into the Santa Barbara County Jail for Possession of Narcotics for Sale, being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, being a Narcotics Addict in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Stolen Firearms and Possession of High Capacity Magazines.
The City of Carpinteria contracts with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office for police services.
