Search Warrants Land Several in Custody
Santa Barbara - May 15th, 2008
On Tuesday May 13, Santa Barbara County Narcotics Detectives made several arrests after serving a search warrant in the City of Santa Barbara. Following the search of a residence on the 1400-block of Lou Dillon Lane Detectives seized 18 grams of tar heroin, two grams of methamphetamine and numerous syringes.
The following subjects were arrested and booked into Santa Barbara County Jail: 40-year old Suzanne Beltran for Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, 29-year old Yvonne Mata for Possession of a Controlled Substance, and being under the influence of a Controlled Substance, and 37-year old Manuel Jauregui for a Parole Violation. In addition to the arrests, Detectives also cited and released 20-year old Angela Perkins for being under the influence of a Controlled Substance.
As a result of the initial search warrant detectives conducted a parole search at a residence on the 1100-block of Milpas Street in Santa Barbara. At this location detectives arrested 35-year old Ronald Beltran for Possession of Tar Heroin, Being Under the Influence, and Parole Violation. Beltran was also booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
In an unrelated investigation also on Tuesday May 13, Santa Barbara County Narcotics Detectives served a search warrant in the 100-Block of 2nd Street in the City of Buellton, which produced approximately 1 ounce of cocaine with a street value of $2,800.
Detectives arrested 35-year old Alejandro Torres of Buellton for Possession of Cocaine for Sale, and Possession of a False Resident Alien Card. He was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail in addition to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) hold.
