Missing Juvenile

Goleta - September 3rd, 2008

On Tuesday, September 2, 2008, 14 year old Christina Veloz-Payne was reported missing by her mother. Christina was last seen by friends at approximately 8:00 pm on Monday, September 1, 2008, while attending the City of Goleta Fireworks Show at Girsch Park. At that time Christina expressed to friends that she was going to walk to her house which is located on San Milano Drive in Goleta, several miles away. Christina has not been seen or spoken to since.

Christina was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black hooded sweatshirt, black “Dickies” shorts, white socks and black “Vans” shoes. Christina’s physical description is; Hispanic, Female, 14 years of age, 4’11”, 130 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes, and a scar on the right side of her head.

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department is asking that anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Christina Veloz-Payne, should immediately call the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department (9.1.1.) or at any of the following numbers; (805) 681-4168, (805) 681-4150, or (805) 681-4100.
