Update: Two Additional Suspects Arrested in Cabrillo High School Vandalism Case

Lompoc, Calif. – The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has made two additional arrests in the Cabrillo High School vandalism investigation that began on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Today, 18-year-olds Luke Quezada and Shane Monroe, both of Lompoc were arrested for commission of a hate crime (felony), vandalism (felony), conspiracy (felony), and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (misdemeanor). Both suspects were booked at the Lompoc Police Department Jail and later released without bail in compliance with the local court’s extension of emergency rule 4.

This investigation remains ongoing, and we will share updates as any additional arrests are made.
