Santa Barbara, Calif. –  The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office is providing further details regarding the in-custody death at the Mail Jail on Sunday, September 3, 2023. The deceased inmate has been identified as 37-year-old Luis Enrique Duron Rodriguez from Goleta. Cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
