The Sheriff’s Office has a convenient method for depositing funds on an inmate’s account. By using our Access Corrections service, deposits can be made by phone, online, or at a kiosk which is open and accessible 24 hours a day.
The kiosks are located at the Santa Barbara County Main Jail facility. The kiosks accept debit/credit and cash deposits. To place money on an inmate’s account by phone, call 866-345-1884. To make an on-line deposit, go to www.accesscorrections.com.
This service provides greater accessibility for friends and family members who have an incarcerated loved one to make deposits more conveniently, regardless of whether they can travel to the Main Jail at a specific time of day or not. Anywhere in the world, anytime of the day or night, they can send money to an inmate.

The Coroner’s Bureau has completed notification to the family of the incarcerated person who died of an apparent suicide at the Main Jail yesterday. The decedent is 41-year-old Cecilia Michelle Covarrubias from Santa Ynez. The cause and manner of death are pending.
